We were able to have a great Haagse Vrouwendag /The Hague Women's Day 2023. A hundred ladies from social shelters in The Hague were pampered by about 60 volunteers who were willing to come and help for a day. There were hairdressers, manicures, pedicures, masseuses, foot reflexologists, a physiotherapist, clothing- and colorconsultants, two great women's bands, a photographer and hostesses. Some volunteers have been associated with The Hague Women's Day for years, some came for the first time this year. Our vintage clothing store 'Pakkie Deftig' was present with clothing, shoes and accessories, from which the women could choose a free outfit. Wool for warmth donated beautiful knitted items. Meanwhile, volunteer drivers drove around The Hague to deliver bags full of care products to another 150 women in various shelter locations. It was a day full of positive energy, strength and connection between women. Many thanks to all volunteers, sponsors and donors who have committed themselves to this! More photos will follow later!
